I’m delivering a bunch of 1-day Excel training sessions for Chisholm Institute. You get 6 hours of training per day and they’ll be run at the Dandenong campus.
Training is delivered over three levels. This is fast-paced training, so unless you’re quite familiar with Excel and can already create formulas, I’d strongly suggest starting with the Level 1 course.
I am now an officially qualified “Microsoft Office Specialist”, having recently completed Microsoft certified tests across a number of their Office applications!
My certification was using Office 2013, but the knowledge is backward compatible to earlier versions 🙂
One of the organisations I deliver training for, Chisholm TAFE, has been awarded the National Large Training Provider of the Year at the Australian Training Awards, presented by the Australian Government.
Chisholm has already received the Victorian Large Training provider award in September.
It would seem the institute’s reaction to the Government’s funding cuts has played a significant role in winning the award.
“Chisholm has been on a journey of business transformation as you are aware, a journey we needed to embark on to continue to be strong and successful in the changed VET sector and a shifting market environment within Victoria” Chisholm’s CEO Maria Peters said in a congratulatory communication with staff.
Further information about the award is on the Chisholm website HERE
I’m currently delivering Windows 8 and Office 2013 training for Chisholm TAFE staff.
These 2-hour “upgrade” courses enable staff to be familiar with these products as they are rolled out across the institute as hardware is replaced (both in student labs and staff offices) in coming months.
They are running at the Frankston and Dandenong short course computer labs.
Staff should use the internal KIOSK booking system to join sessions on dates and times to suit.
